A Gatsby Affair Gearing Up to be the Gatsby Extravaganza of the Year
Sep 28th at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica is going to be a night to remember, travel back in time to the Gatsby 1920's era and dance to the tunes of Macy Gray and X Factor's Stacy Francis.
Beverly Hills, CA, September 26, 2013 --(PR.com)-- PeakPRgroup is proud to announce Face Forward charity is ready to embark on its “A Great Gatsby Affair” on Sep 28th at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica.
The renowned Face Forward charity holds it’s annual gala to raise funds for the many pro-bono surgeries they perform for victims of domestic abuse. This is their 4th event and it just keeps getting better and better.
This year’s event is hosted by respected actress and activist Sara Rue and honors Dr. Phil and his wife Robin McGraw along with CEO/Founder of ONEHOPE wine & the ONEHOPE Foundation Jake Kloberdanz.
Grammy winning singer Macy Gray has kindly donated her time to perform for the 350 attendees along with the multi talented X Factor singer/actress Stacy Francis, who herself is a victim of abuse and has shared her experiences in support of this great cause.
Guests will experience a celebrity filled red carpet/cocktail reception with an amazing silent auction. Flapper girls, cigarette girls, timeless live music, everything Gatsby will transfer guests to the golden age.
The magnificent Fairmont Miramar ballroom and the outside gardens will be magically transformed by Luna Gardens Events, who have many surprises in store, and are one of the best event production companies in the country, not to mention how committed they are to the charity.
The live auction consists of sponsored items that are set to raise much-needed funds to help change the lives of those affected by domestic violence. Items include the pool table from the Tom Cruise/Paul Newman blockbuster movie, The Color of Money, concert tickets to Josh Grobin & Depeche Mode, breakfast with living legend Larry King, a Sharon Stone gown, music greats Elvis Costello & Elton John have kindly signed a guitar donated by Infiniti. Guests can also bid on luxurious trips to Thailand, a trip to Venice, Italy. An astounding live auction item was kindly donated by Turkish Airlines, who continue to support the Face Forward message and gave 2 International business class airline tickets to Turkey or anywhere else in the world, including a five star hotel stay. Priceless antiques, sold out concert tickets and much sought after sporting events, valuable paintings, sports memorabilia and seasonal gift baskets will ensure that the silent & live auction provides something for everybody. Guests will leave with terrific goody bags.
