Rodney Harris Joins Harrison College’s Corporate Partnerships Division

Private Sector College Expands Its Corporate Partnerships Division with New Hire Focusing on Partnership Development.

Indianapolis, IN, September 27, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Harrison College, a private sector college serving more than 4,000 students worldwide, has announced that Rodney Harris has joined the college’s corporate partnerships division in a new position focusing on partnership development. In this role, Harris is responsible for assisting with networking and community outreach events to recruit future students and to inform prospective corporate partners and business professionals about the unique and varied academic programs available at Harrison College.

Prior to joining Harrison College, Harris served as a key accounts coordinator for Angie’s List, a publicly traded, online-based advertising and consumer reporting company. Harris held an internship with Stopover, Inc., where he worked as co-chair of the marketing and budget committee for the nonprofit organization, which serves to empower homeless teens through education and training initiatives. Earlier in his career, Harris worked as outreach coordinator for Charles A. Tindley Accelerated School, an alternative college-preparatory school; and completed a six-year tenure at Apex Real Estate Serves, where he was a team leader and key account administrator.

Harris earned a Master of Business Administration from Butler University in Indianapolis and holds a Bachelor of Science in secondary education from Indiana University in Bloomington. An active member of his community, he serves as a basketball referee for elementary and middle school students and is a member of the Indiana Black Expo, which was founded in 1970 as a contributor to the economic and social advancement of the African-American community.
