International School of Arizona Open House
Welcome! Bienvenidos! Bienvenue! Willkommen!
Scottsdale, AZ, September 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The International School of Arizona (ISA) will host an open house on Sunday, October 6, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Come learn about ISA’s programs and see how your child can benefit from an immersion education in our French and Spanish tracks.
At Sunday’s Open House, parents will have the opportunity to learn about the ISA pre-school program, elementary school, summer camp and our Saturday and after-school enrichment programs. The French department chair will be conducting a special mock class for prospective parents. The demonstration will be held utilizing the latest learning technology employed at the International School of Arizona. Other teachers will be on hand to field any questions and perform class demos. This way you can see firsthand what a typical class would be like for your child in the total language immersion program. Tours of the facility will be given and parents of currently enrolled students will be on hand to meet and answer questions.
Learning a second language can provide increased opportunities for your child’s future. The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages has found that early language learning improves cognitive skills—including reading and the ability to hypothesize in science. In addition, a bilingual education will prepare your child to be competitive in the world marketplace; develop skills to communicate with people across cultures; and be a critical thinker with excellent problem solving skills to make good decisions.
Families from more than a dozen Phoenix metro cities commute to ISA to provide their children with the opportunity to receive a bilingual education in an immersion environment unlike any other school in the valley. ISA’s parents form a dedicated and caring multicultural community committed to the ideal of preparing children for the future as global citizens. Students at ISA achieve literacy in two languages and are able to integrate easily into American and European school systems. It is not necessary for parents to know the foreign language that their child is learning.
Open House locations: 9128 E. San Salvador Drive Scottsdale, AZ 85258 & 11211 E. Via Linda Ste. 100 Scottsdale, AZ 85259.
