Individual and stunt duo categories will highlight excellence in cheerleading
Austin, TX, September 29, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Cheer Channel Inc. (CCI), the #1 online broadcast and satellite news and entertainment network dedicated to the millions of cheerleaders, dancers, and their fans, announced today the launch of a new reality talent show for the spirit industry as a pilot for broadcast, So You Think You Can Cheer. The individual and stunt duo competitions will be held at major cheer events across the country during the 2013-2014 cheer season in association with two of the most respected and popular event producers, Xtreme Spirit, and UCF. Six events are currently on the schedule with more venues and locations to be announced shortly.
The show will follow the format of several of the already popular reality competition shows on television, including America''s Got Talent, American Idol, and So You Think You Can Dance, while staying focused on the strength, skills, stunting and rhythm that are unique to cheerleading and the talented athletes that participate.
