e-DBA is an Official Production Partner for Oracle Database 12c
e-DBA is an Oracle Platinum Partner specialising in the provision of Oracle Software, Hardware, Managed and Professional Services. Founded in 1998, the company has grown rapidly and now has offices in both the UK and Australia enabling the delivery of services on a global scale. e-DBA has been named Oracle Database Partner of the Year for the third time in four years, demonstrating a proven level of skill and expertise in the area of database support.
Chelmsford, United Kingdom, October 02, 2013 --(PR.com)-- In 2012 e-DBA was invited to become part of the Oracle Database 12c beta programme, providing the opportunity to work with this software for over a year before its general release. This enabled the e-DBA team to gain a thorough understanding of how the latest release of Oracle Database works through extensive first-hand experience. e-DBA was able to complete upgrades from previous Oracle Database versions, migrations from other database vendors and test out all the new features of Oracle Database 12c including multi-tenancy and Automatic Data Optimisation.
Following the success of the Oracle beta programme e-DBA has also become an official production customer and reference for Oracle Database 12c.
With the experience gained from the beta programme, e-DBA has migrated its customer hosting platform to Oracle Database 12c. This has allowed e-DBA to improve its internal process, providing customers with additional value added capabilities such as instant cloning, self-service and more rapid provisioning. In addition this provides assurances for e-DBA customers that the services they provide around 12c are from a company that uses the software each and every day.
James Anthony, Technology Director, e-DBA Ltd says “We are very excited to become an official production partner for Oracle Database 12c. We believe this reflects both the work we undertook as part of the beta programme, but also the benefits, strength and stability of 12c in its initial release.”
The e-DBA team have gained a vast amount of knowledge and expertise around Oracle Database 12c. This has enabled them to host several Oracle Database 12c Seminars and Webinars to pass on this knowledge. During these sessions attendees have been able to find out more about the new features associated with this software, as well as take part in a question and answer session to clarify any uncertainties. The next Oracle Database 12c Seminar is on 21st November 2013. Please visit the e-DBA events webpage: http://www.e-dba.com/events_webinars.html and select 21/11/2013 to register.
