Autumn Flowers and Bouquet Sales Hot as the Weather Cools Down

Autumn-styled bouquets are quite popular in Canada this year. As the weather cools off, many arrangements are bringing the outside indoors with burnt oranges, reds and bright yellow colours making them perfect particularly for Thanksgiving.

Ottawa, Canada, October 02, 2013 --(PR.com)-- We're now officially in to the Autumn season in Canada, and it's a season of change for many people. As the memories of summer fade away, the crisp, cool air of autumn means that many people's gardens and plants will soon be seeing out their final days for the season.

But as the leaves change, and eventually fall to the ground, there are other options for keeping some greenery around.

Bloomex, Canada's largest florist and one of the nation's greatest online success stories, reports strong sales for autumn-themed bouquets as the company enters its traditionally busy Q4.

"Christmas has always been a very successful time for us here," said Mark Camphaug, director of marketing for Bloomex. "But before we even get to the point where people are starting to think about holiday flowers and gifts, we've seen a lot of interest in our fall-themed bouquets."

Bloomex has a variety of bouquets and baskets styled for fall (viewable at http://bit.ly/14Y3CWC). The arrangements' colourings generally reflect the colour changes on the leaves outside -- shades of rustic red and orange, with pops of yellow, are highly desirable. Carnations, Alstroemeria, Sunflowers, and trendy Gerbera Daisies are woven in to many of the arrangements listed in the company's Autumn Flowers section.

Founded in 2005, Bloomex boasts the lowest prices in Canada, thanks largely to changing the way that online florists do business. Its success in Canada has seen the company expand its reach to the United States and Australia, with great traction made in those markets using the same approach.

"Because of our simplified, streamlined business model, local florists and online competitors struggle to keep up with us," Camphaug said. "We've been able to cut out a lot of the intermediary steps, which all adds up to tremendous value for the end consumer."
