The award is named after Dream Row’s tag line “Plug Yourself.”

Nashville, TN, October 03, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Dream Row, a Nashville-based entertainment media company, congratulates Hannah Bethel, Country Artist, Songwriter, for receiving Dream Row’s Plug Yourself award. Hannah Bethel is the proud first recipient of this award and clearly deserves it for her continued hard work in the independent music scene in Nashville.

“I’m really excited and flattered to have been asked. I’ve known Dan for a long time and he was one of the first people I met when I was in Nashville. I’m excited that Dream Row is coming back and to be included in it,” says Bethel.

Bethel moved to Nashville when she turned 18 to pursue her dreams of breaking into the music industry. In 2010, she released “No Stopping, Standing, Parking,” a self-produced EP. Bethel was quickly noticed and received positive feedback on her songwriting ability by the Nashville songwriting community. In 2011, she was a contestant on “The X Factor USA” where she was able to grow her fan base and show off her unique style of music. Currently Bethel has a project that she produced with Andy Sheraton, “The Freedom EP,” released in 2012 by Momentum Label Group with the single “No Where Left to Roam,” out now. The second single from her latest EP, (which includes five tracks all of which she wrote or co-wrote,) comes out this month.

Dream Row established the award to honor currently active independent artists, musicians, and music industry businesses for their lifetime achievements in the music business. The award is named after Dream Row’s tag line “Plug Yourself.”

“Hannah’s unique style and innovative sound makes her great for this award. She’s a very talented young performer, she plays multiple instruments and can write; that makes her very captivating,” says Darrell Robertson, co-founder of Dream Row. Robertson is the visionary behind Dream Row’s rebirth and a supporter of independent artists.

“Our panel of judges identified ten distinguished characteristics to qualify for this award. The Plug Yourself Committee has honored Hannah Bethel for her extraordinarily music industry business and talent in the independent music business that have given her a significant competitive advantage, while demonstrating to the entire music industry the hidden potential of hard work and applied business thinking when wisely managed. No one can apply for this award; they are not even aware of the award ‘till we call them or email them with the news and why they won,” says Dan Shaw, Co-Founder, Vice President and Operations Director of Dream Row.
