HealthCARE Express Celebrates Groundbreaking at New Company Headquarters in Texarkana

Texarkana, TX, October 04, 2013 --(PR.com)-- HealthCARE Express at 3515 Richmond Road in Texarkana recently held a groundbreaking to celebrate the start of an expansion at the facility that will see the addition of many medical services. The two story expansion will be built behind the existing facility, and the current facility will remain open and serving patients during the construction.

Construction on the facility is expected to take about a year, but when it is finished, the clinic will have an additional nine exam rooms dedicated to serving occupational medicine patients. The expansion will also include the addition of a pain management clinic, including a flouro room to do pain management procedures.

“To make it more convenient for all of our patients to get everything they need in one place, we are adding a MRI and a CT machine to the services we offer, and we’re very excited that we will also be able to offer physical therapy on-site. The new plans include the addition of a physical therapy area complete with a therapy pool,” said Tim Reynolds, M.D., managing partner of HealthCARE Express.

The second story of the expansion will serve as the headquarters for HealthCARE Express and will house the administrative offices, billing office, and a training facility that will serve as the hub for training at all HealthCARE Express locations.

“We are calling it the HealthCARE Express World Domination Headquarters,” Reynolds said, to which the crowd in attendance all laughed. “It’s going to be 16,000 square feet and two stories. The bottom part is going to be all clinical. The top part is going to be administrative. When we built this building in 2006, we didn’t know we were going to have multiple clinics in multiple communities, with even more planned, so upstairs will be the administrative offices. We’re very excited.”

That excitement was echoed by the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce.

“When Charles (Nickerson) and I are talking about economic development, business retention is very important. When we see a company like HealthCARE Express that’s been able to go and grow their business and add different locations, and now we’re here today to see even more growth, it’s just incredible,” Mark Bledsoe, Texarkana Chamber vice president of chamber operations, said.

Before the official turning of the dirt at the celebration, HealthCARE Express echoed the excitement of being able to grow and add more jobs to the community.

“This has been an amazing ride for us. We’re excited to be based here in Texarkana. We’re now in multiple communities, and I’ll announce to all of you today that we just purchased some land in Little Rock and in Oklahoma City. So we’re going to be in four states in the near future, and we’re very excited that our headquarters is in Texarkana. We’ve always said our number one premise is giving back to the communities in which we live and to develop a legacy of leaders. We truly want to be a business of purpose and not just profits.”
