At the company’s annual meeting last summer, the idea was introduced to start fundraising for Breast Cancer Awareness month as one way of doing that. As a result, The Grout Medic has chosen to dedicate their fundraising to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF) in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month each October. Mike Mushinski, Vice President of Operations, has this to say about the new connection: “It is important as a company that we are socially responsible. The arrangement is that for every job a participating Grout Medic franchise books in October, they will contribute $5 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. BCRF remains one of the most fiscally responsible charities in the country, having earned 4 stars from Charity Navigator (out of four stars) for the eleventh time since 2002. Currently, $0.91 of every dollar spent by BCRF is directed toward breast cancer research and awareness programs.
