The Penguin Announces New Music Playlist for First Half of October 2013

Belmar, NJ, October 06, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Over sixty artists will make their debut this month on the new music station, ThePenguinRocks.com. Broadcasting from Belmar, NJ, the online radio station features rock and roll and Americana from indie and national artists across the globe. The new music playlist for the first half of October was released today.

"The Penguin is basically a new music station," explains Gary Wien, Program Director for The Penguin. "And when we say new music, we mean it. Half of the songs we play were released within the past year and nearly 80% within the last two years. If you listen for ten minutes, you'll likely hear a great artist you've never heard of before. We're constantly searching the Internet for new acts to introduce to our audience."
