Builders Site Protection Chosen to be Premiere Surface Protection Supplier for Green Lake Village Project

The surface protection products supplied from Builders Site Protection will prevent damage to Green Lake Village’s expensive finishes.

Green Lake Village will be home to 295 apartments and 50,000 square feet of retail space, including a large grocery store called PCC Natural Markets. The project is set to open in spring 2014. W.G. Clark is using Ram Board™ surface protection to protect concrete floors during construction. The project is also using Ram Board’s new Vapor-Cure™ seam tape, which allows vapors and moisture to escape from curing concrete, preventing cure lines and blotchy finishes in curing floors.

Green Lake Village is a three acre property located on the site of the old Vitamilk Dairy. The site was formerly known by local residents as “the hole” and the project experienced difficulties due to the large quantity of groundwater and diesel fuel that had to be pumped away from the site in order for construction to begin. The project developer, Lorig Associates, is aiming to have the building LEED silver certified.
