Peter Mangiola, RN, MSN, senior wellness expert and director of marketing for Senior Helpers, is joining best-selling author Kathy Nolan for a special workshop: “Retirement 911 Rescue: a Baby Boomer Alert for Income Generating Solutions Supporting Quality Retirement Lifestyle.”
Manchester, NJ, October 10, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Peter Mangiola, RN, MSN, senior wellness expert and director of marketing for Senior Helpers, will join best-selling author Kathy Nolan and a panel of five New Jersey professionals specializing in providing retirement solutions, for a special event: “Retirement 911 Rescue: a Baby Boomer Alert for Income Generating Solutions Supporting Quality Retirement Lifestyle.”
The workshop will be held at The White Sands Oceanfront Resort & Spa in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. In addition to the buffet dinner served, there will be several informative presentations and an open question-and-answer session with the panel.
Currently, there is a large segment of retiring baby-boomers that don’t have enough saved to maintain even their current lifestyle.
A survey conducted by AIG confirms the concern most seniors have about their fiscal security. Pre-retirees -- those between the ages of 55 and 70 who are not yet retired -- surveyed reported that only 48 percent believe they will be able to achieve their desired lifestyle once they stop working.
80 percent say they have a more cautious approach to their finances.
77 percent are looking for solutions that will provide lifetime guaranteed income.
69 percent value insurance and investments that offer financial stability.
In addition, 32 percent of respondents indicated they plan to look into protecting existing assets -- eight times the number of those who said they plan to invest more aggressively to make up for lost time (4 percent).
In response to this retirement crisis, best-selling author Kathy Nolan will host a special buffet workshop, “Retirement 911 Rescue: a Baby-Boomer Alert for Income Generating Solutions to Provide a Quality Retirement Lifestyle.”
The date for the workshop, which includes a complimentary buffet, is to be held October 23rd, 2013, 6 PM. There is a $10.00 registration fee, which will be matched by the panel guests and donated to CASA.
