Koopa Soundworks to be Officially Incorporated in 2013

Shibuya, Japan, October 08, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Official company name to be "Koopa Soundworks Co. Ltd."

Koopa Soundworks is a record label that releases music albums that are tied to video games. Working together with music composers from the videogame industry, Koopa Soundworks creates music that uses games as a basis of its concept, and the label's ultimate goal is to work with artists and musicians from all around the world to create top-class videogame-inspired albums to gamers and fans of good music alike. Originally, Koopa Soundworks began as an individual internet project by Kuwait-based Mohammed Taher, who felt that Japanese composers who had quit composing music should return to their roots and start composing once again.

Since the end of 2012, Koopa Soundworks has released two albums, "World 1-2" and "World 1-2: Encore" before being founded as an actual company. The label will continue to make music following its official establishment. Also, the first game title Koopa Soundworks was partially involved in, "Shovel Knight," is scheduled to release by the end of 2013 in North America and Europe.

In March 2014, Koopa Soundworks will participate in "Bit Summit II," showing off albums that are currently in development, and one artist will be performing at the event live.

"Giving the world good music" and "Bringing together the video game industries of Japan, the West and the Middle East" are the slogans in which Koopa Soundworks is being established.
