Polish Rail Timetables Advertising for Increased Profits with ONELAN
The main railway station in Kraków has a large volume of tourist traffic. Polish Rail wanted to be able to show and manage advertising across the station platforms.

Digital signage was chosen by Polish Rail as it was the best solution for displaying adverts. It also enabled the advertising to be managed from one location and allow the unlimited modification of content.

What is installed
Two ONELAN Net top box (NTB) 5500s publish advertising content to ten ONELAN NTB 5500 subscriber players to screens located on the station platforms.
The system is managed from a central location via LAN.
This system allows for seamless content management and also contributes to the modern image of Kraków railway station.
The biggest challenges were to keep the units cool and dust free. To solve these issues special air conditioners were used to provide adequate cooling and the signage put in sealed enclosures.
End result
Polish rail is very happy with the result as it generates additional revenues from their advertising.
