Get Close to the Bella Lingua and Bella Vita of Italy… Without Leaving Manhattan
New York, NY, September 12, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Beginning Sept. 17, Collina Italiana (CI) on the Upper East Side in Manhattan is offering its signature Italian language and culture classes, including Italian cooking and wine workshops and seminars in language and culture, such as learning the bella lingua through contemporary Italian film, Italian decorative painting, theater, cuisine of Northern Italy, and Dante’s Divina Commedia.

In September 2007 CI Director Patrizia Saglio launches in a series of special events, TAVOLA ROTONDA, where former, present, and future students (and guests) meet informally with instructors to discuss, in Italian, topics of interest, such as Italian politics, contemporary society, history, film, travel, fashion, etc. The series of special events provide exciting opportunities for members to practice speaking Italian and socialize Italian style.

Collina Italiana (formerly Lo Spazio in Collina) is becoming the premiere Italian Language Cultural Center in New York City. Located in Carnegie Hill, program enrollment has been growing steadily since the center's opening in 2006. CI also announces this fall the expanded children’s programming and ESL (English as a Second Language) classes for children and adults.

The center's new Web site is www.collinaitaliana.com.
