World Of Art Showcase Announces Partnership with LivingBrush
International Art Exhibition Teams with the Scott-Free Scholarship Foundation’s Special Guest
Raleigh, NC, October 10, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The World of Art Showcase (WOAS), an international art show dedicated to exhibiting talented artists and creating a community where artists have direct access to their market, has announced that three-time world champion body painters, LivingBrush Bodypainting, will be performing as special guests of The Scott-Free Scholarship Foundation at the VIP opening preview on Thursday, Oct. 31.
LivingBrush, located in Greensboro, N.C., is owned and operated by Scott Fray and Madelyn Greco, three-time first-place winners in the world body painting festival. Fray and Greco have retained the title of Brush & Sponge Champions of North America and broke the Guinness World Record for “Most Painted Bodies” in 2007. Their work has been showcased in print, TV and online media outlets such as NPR, CNN, MSN, Sports Illustrated and WGHP-Fox8. They have also been featured in several internationally published books and trade publications.
Fray and Greco are focused on bringing recognition and legitimacy to body painting as a fine art endeavor. The two believe wholeheartedly in the transcendent nature of the work they create – coining the phrase, “soul-on-skin.” They welcome it as an opportunity to view and translate into art some aspect of the deeper nature of their subjects. Fray and Greco consider experiences involving body paint sessions to offer a subject healing or relief from negative body image and body-trauma issues.

About World of Art Showcase:
The World of Art Showcase (WOAS), sponsored by Jerry’s Artarama, is an international art show dedicated to exhibiting talented artists and creating a community where artists have direct access to their market. The inception of WOAS arose from a desire to redefine the role art plays in our society – to get back to the grassroots of what art stands for and to revolutionize the way the art market functions. Aligning its vision with that of the Raleigh Arts Commission in transforming the "City of Oaks" into the "Creative Capital of the South" WOAS will host its inaugural event at the Raleigh Convention Center the first weekend in November. Audience members will have the opportunity to attend receptions, artist lectures, panel discussions, live art demonstrations and more.
