Beyond Expectations (BE) to facilitate Finance and Entrepreneurship workshops at upcoming Teen Summit in Harrisburg, Pa.
Harrisburg, PA, September 14, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Beyond Expectations (BE) has announced that it will facilitate a series of Finance and Entrepreneurship workshops at upcoming teen summit -- “No Limits – Break the Walls” targeting teens ages 13-18 within the City of Harrisburg and surrounding areas.
Growing Every Mind, Inc., (G.E.M.), in partnership with the American Literacy Corporation (ALC) organized the summit to inspire individuals to achieve personal growth, and reach their highest potential by building their (network) of resources.
"We are pleased that G.E.M. reached out to BE to participate in this worthy event given our breadth of experience working with the teenage population," said Leontyne H. Anglin, president, Beyond Expectations.
Through panel discussions and break-out sessions, youth will gain a broader understanding and appreciation for critical elements needed to build excellence in their lives. Topics will focus on education, health and well-being, personal finance, and other areas that will challenge and empower participants to make informed life decisions.
"We are excited for this opportunity to align ourselves with organizations outside the greater New Jersey region that share our vision of empowering teens as they transition to adulthood," said Anglin.
The event will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2007 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Cooper Student Center at Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC).
Featured guest speakers are Mubita C. Nawa, life coach, author and radio host who boasts a 7 year apprenticeship under Rev. T.D. Jakes; as well as Tina Wells, CEO, Buzz Marketing Group whose clients include Nike, New Balance, Universal, Reebok, RCA /J Records, just to name a few.
