Wine & Music Festival Oct. 26 at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino VIP Menu, Wine Seminars and Cooking Demonstrations Announced
Dover, DE, October 12, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Twelfth Annual Wine & Music Festival will be held on Saturday, October 26, from 3 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. in the Rollins Center®, celebrating a Halloween theme. Guests are invited to dress in costume during the event. Costume judging will occur at 7 p.m., with prizes to be awarded.
Informative wine seminars will take place in the Silver Lake Room at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. At the American Wine History and Tasting at 5 p.m., guests learn how to taste wine like a pro and discuss the impact of American wines on the world. At 7 p.m., guests learn wine and food pairing, the revolution of wine, and insight into screw-top wines at the Wine and Where We Are Today seminar.
Cooking demonstrations will occur in the Rollins Center at 4:15 p.m. and again at 8 p.m. Deejay entertainment, and gift and food marketplaces provide guests with plenty to do between tastings.
General admission of $25 includes wine glass and wine tasting. A designated driver ticket at $15 includes unlimited, free soft drinks. The VIP experience is offered for $40 and includes wine glass, wine tasting, special seating and delicious menu of jumbo butternut squash ravioli served in a crispy potato nest, drizzled with sage butter and roasted pumpkin seeds; seared jumbo scallops with red grapes, pea greens, radicchio, avocado and an aged balsamic reduction; Riesling gelee parfait with marinated strawberries.
