Prospective parents and children are invited to their Open House on 11/16/13 from 10 am to 12 noon.
Families interested in exploring a Montessori Education for their children are invited to attend the Lexington Montessori School’s Open House on Saturday, November 16 from 10 – 12.
Montessori emphasizes the skills required to succeed in today’s world: compassion, resourcefulness, and diligence. At LMS, children learn how to be a friend, learn conflict resolution skills, and participate in Service Learning. Rather than being test-oriented within a narrow curriculum, Montessori teachers encourage their students to explore concepts deeply and thoroughly. Hands-on materials clarifies and solidifies abstract ideas. Students plan their own work day, set their own goals, and learn how to follow through to complete their projects. Lexington Montessori School is a co-ed, Toddler thru 8th grade school. Financial assistance is available. LMS is located in at 130 Pleasant Street, Lexington MA.
