Olga Bussinello, Director of the Consorzio Valpolicella and Only Female in Italy to Hold the Role Awarded Women for Women Award by Italy Vini Buoni D'Italia Wine Guide

On 25th October, during the presentation of one of Italy's most well respected wine guides, the Vini Buoni d'Italia guide published by Touring, Olga Bussinello will be one of four women to receive an award.

Verona, Italy, October 14, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Vini Buoni d’Italia published by Touring has partnered with the National Association of Women in Wine and the award “Donne nello Sport” (women in sport) organized by the National Association Le Amazzoni and with the support of CONI, the Italian Olympic Committee, to announce that during the Preview event of the Vinibuoni d’Italia 2014, the guide’s editor Mario Bussi will present the Le Donne per le Donne award to the Director of the Consorzio Tutela Vini Valpolicella, Olga Bussinello aged 44. Olga, a graduate in law from the University of Trento, is the only Italian female director of a consortium of wine producers having taken up the role in 2010. During her time in the role, she has focused on communicating at a international level the link between wine and the area of origin. The award will be presented on 25th October at 10.30am at the Auditorium della Regione Lombardia in Milan.

The “Donne per le Donne” (women for women) project, this year wants to highlight the efforts made by women in the winemaking industry. During the presentation of the wine guide Vini Buoni d’Italia, published by Touring, four leading ladies with different roles in the world of wine will receive awards of recognition. Besides Olga Bussinello, director of the Consorzio Valpolicella, Enza Bettelli Milan-based journalist covering Italian wine and food, Arianna Occhipinti, author and wine-producer, and Paola Longo, wine-shop owner will also receive accolades.
