Henderson Franklin Welcomes Attorney Kayla Richmond to Family Law Team
Fort Myers, FL, October 17, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The law firm of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., is pleased to announce that Attorney Kayla Richmond has joined the firm as an associate in the Divorce, Marital and Family Law practice area. She will handle dissolution of marriage (divorce), custody, paternity, child support and domestic violence injunctions.
Richmond served as a summer associate with Henderson Franklin in 2012, and worked as a law clerk for the Honorable David A. Demers in Florida’s 6th Judicial Circuit Court, doing Appellate work.
While attending law school, Richmond served as the Chief of the Stetson Ambassador Program. She was also Secretary of the Business Law Society, President of the Running Club, and participated in Inns of Court. Richmond received the Dean’s Award and William F. Blews Pro Bono Award.
Richmond is a Fort Myers native, graduating from Fort Myers High School in 2006. She received her undergraduate degrees from the University of South Florida (B.A., 2010, magna cum laude); her law degree from Stetson University College of Law (J.D., 2013); and, her graduate degree from Stetson University (M.B.A., 2013, summa cum laude).
