About Lynn A. Werner
Dr. Werner has over 10 years experience in the field of community development. She is a Board Member for North Branch Works of Chicago, Illinois which is a nonprofit community development organization that focuses on business development. She is the event Chairperson for the annual networking and fund raising program which brings many business owners together to discuss what they do in their companies and can help to increase members in North Branch Works. Dr. Werner is also affiliated with the Union League Club, Civic and Arts Foundation, is Senior Counselor for the Public Affairs Committee and a Board Member (Trustee) for the Chicago Academy for the Arts. Dr. Werner obtained a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Loyola University in 1995. She is a retired educator with a background in fashion design. In her spare time she enjoys activities with her Husband Charles’ fraternity (Omega Psi Upsilon) on The University of Chicago campus. They work together doing renovations and repairs to make the Psi U house the best looking house on campus.
