Inspire! Charitable Foundation Announces the Inspire! Arts Film Festival 2014 Call for Entries
Inspire! Arts Film Festival recognizes filmmakers of all ages and of all abilities who create and inspire Inclusion in their filmmaking cast, crew, or subject matter.
Huntsville, AL, October 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Inspire! charitable foundation has announced the Call For Entries for the Inspire! Arts Film Festival 2014 is now open. The festival is accepting entries through April 30, 2014. Festival activities, public screenings and Inspire! Arts Film Festival Awards Ceremony will take place July 18 and 19, 2014 in the stunning Huntsville Museum of Arts (HMA) overlooking Big Spring International Park in downtown Huntsville, Alabama.
The 2014 festival will accept entries for original short and feature films. To qualify as a short, entries cannot exceed 20 minutes in length and must have been completed on or after January 1, 2012; features are limited to 120 minutes in length. Entries will be classified as Young Filmmakers (K-12 Students, Public, Private, & Home Schooled), College Student Filmmakers, and Independent Filmmakers. The Inspire! "We spoke with filmmakers and artists and decidedly saw a need for more Inclusion in the arts, more robust and inclusive interaction with other artists, and more representation for filmmakers submitting their films in this area,” acknowledged Michael Kienzle, Senior VP of Development, Inspire! charitable foundation. He continued, “Inspire Arts Charitable Foundation provides mentorship to help filmmakers achieve their maximum potential, beginning with high tech film submissions through Film Festival Life’s Smarter Submitter, providing an educational blog, promotional opportunities, and, finally, culminating in a world class award ceremony.”
