Somfy to Build the Ultimate Deck at IFAI 2013

On display in the Somfy booth #4827, will be exterior window covering and awning motors, and a variety of RTS accessories to help anyone build the ultimate motorized outdoor living space.

Awning and Exterior Motors

Sunea Motors – Somfy offers the most advanced and innovative motor for cassette, semi-cassette and standard awnings with Sunea which is UL listed. With RTS built-in, Sunea provides instant sun protection and extended outdoor living space while incorporating all of the benefits of motorization with one motor.

AutoSun- Offered by Somfy’s SIMU brand, AutoSun harnesses the power of the sun for wireless motorized exterior window covering solutions such as drop arm window awnings, exterior solar screens and rolling shutters. AutoSun features a patented energy-saving, low-consumption motor that only uses energy as needed for optimal performance.

Sensors

Eolis - The Eolis 3D WireFree™ RTS Wind Sensor is a wireless, battery powered wind sensor that will automatically retract the awning when it detects movement from wind or vibrations. The Eolis can be operated via a Telis RTS transmitter or a DecoFlex WireFree™ Wall Switch providing push-button control.

Sunis- Sunis WireFree™ RTS Sun Sensor is a wireless sun sensor that is powered with an integrated solar cell and uses RTS to automatically extend an awning based on the sun’s intensity. The Sunis can be turned on or off with the Telis Soliris RTS hand-held transmitter.

Accessories

Somfy is debuting a wide array of RTS accessories to enhance the Ultimate Deck. Now ordinary outdoor lighting and outdoor accessories can be controlled through an RTS remote for convenient connectivity. Somfy also offers a variety of RTS remotes, wall switches and table top accessories which seamlessly integrate controls into any home’s décor. All of Somfy’s motor for awnings & exterior shades can also be integrated into Somfy’s TaHomA total home automation system which allows for complete automation.
