New Widescreen 24" Industrial Grade 1080P HD Panel PC from Vartech Systems Inc.

Baton Rouge, LA, October 24, 2013 --(PR.com)-- VarTech Systems Inc. has expanded their extensive line of industrial grade panel pc computers with the release of the 24 inch industrial NEMA 4 (IP65) black powder coat and NEMA 4X (IP66) 316 stainless steel panel pcs. These all-in-one computers possess capabilities of displaying a true 1080p, high definition, digital image while incorporating resistive touch screen technology. The new 24" IPCs, designed for 24/7 operation, can function at optimal operational temperatures of 0 to 50C all the way down to optional -20C. Powered by T5800 2 GHz 800 MHz FSB Intel Dual Core Processing Technology, the new widescreen panel pc utilizes the latest in processor technology with optional i3, i5 and i7 Intel Core series processors. A completely fan less panel pc configuration is also available with the integration of the Intel Atom N2800 processor making it energy efficient as well as a powerful computing solution.

The flat panel display of the 24" industrial panel pc has a standard brightness of 300 nits with an optional very bright 700 nit display also available. The optional 700 nit, widescreen panel pcs are optically bonded with an anti-reflective, protective window for added shock and vibration protection and reduced solar reflectivity providing increased outdoor viewing ability. They are also equipped with VarTech's proprietary Optical Stack Enhancement (OSE) which is a unique optical design that boosts efficiency of the backlight's light utilization and minimizes the surface reflection of ambient light.

Some optional features that available on the 24 Inch, 16:9, widescreen panel pc include wifi, 2 x PCI or 1 x PCI Express x16, Canbus, MODbus, DVD drive and dual storage drives with up to 4TB internal storage. An external full-range dimming control can also be added for 0 to 100 percent display illumination when more or less backlight intensity is needed. A 90-264V AC internal power supply is standard with 9-36VDC as optional.
