Nigeria Adopts the Universal Address System
Toronto, Canada, October 24, 2013 --(PR.com)-- NAC Geographic Products Inc. announced that Polaris Digitech Limited - a pioneer geotechnology company of Nigeria has licensed the NAC Technology to develop a nation-wide NAC (i.e. Universal Address) database and its applications for Nigeria. With Universal Addresses, all mail pieces can be automatically sorted from world level to final household mail boxes, all GPS systems can provide door-to-door navigation services everywhere in the world, and all news reports will have the simplest and most accurate reference of the location of any event in the world.
Nigeria does not have a well established national addressing system. Without home addresses, postal and courier services, efficient emergency services and GPS navigation services to households are very difficult if not impossible.
