Young Chefs Academy Brings a Culinary Adventure to Your Doorstep
YCA launches a new cooking club for kids business across the US.
Waco, TX, October 24, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Young Chefs® Academy, the nation's leader in teaching kids to cook, announces the upcoming launch of YCA@Home, a unique monthly subscription service for kids, where YCA delivers their unique cooking lessons right to their customers' homes. This venture came about due to the highly expressed interest from customers seeking the YCA experience in areas where there currently is no Young Chefs Academy location.
At a price of just $14.95/month, including shipping, subscribers receive a starter package that is delivered to their doorstep. It is filled with items to get your child started as an official YCA member, along with access to the members only online cooking club. Each subsequent month, a new package will be delivered, addressed to your child, containing thematic recipes containing tips and lessons and a new secret ingredient. Each package is curated to take your child on a one of a kind culinary quest, exploring their world while learning the life long skills of cooking. This is all accomplished using the YCA proprietary teaching methods that have been teaching millions of kids to cook since 2003.
“The YCA@Home subscription club is perfect for busy parents who understand the importance and value of teaching their kids the life long skill of cooking, but don’t have time to put the pieces of the puzzle together to create a fun and rewarding time in the kitchen,” says Suzy Nettles, co-founder with Julie Burleson of Young Chefs Academy. “This is not a recipe database, or a cook book. It’s a challenging, exciting, fun children’s cooking curriculum designed and proven to teach real cooking, at the same time creating a fun time, and lifetime of fond memories for both the parent and the child.”
And unlike other subscription services, YCA@Home includes an exclusive social experience for their members. Members will have access to a private online website, where they will find instructional videos, bonus and challenge recipes, helpful tips, recipe picture sharing and interactive fun. This unique membership subscription offers a sequential, skill building curriculum built in to the monthly packages, allowing young chefs to accomplish a new cooking skill each month, as they work their way towards the coveted Master Chef status at the completion of the twelve month program.
“This subscription membership answers so many questions, both for our customers and for our team here at the Young Chefs headquarters,” said Julie Burleson. “We can finally bring the YCA brand to the customers who are so eager about being a part of our Young Chefs Academy family. Here is the bonus - it’s an opportunity for us to be back in touch with our customers, one on one. That’s where we started, and that’s where our passion lies. We love our customers, and can’t wait to get back in the kitchen with them!”
The first phase of the YCA@Home product line launches November, 2013, and will be open to areas outside of current Young Chefs Academy territories, where students can attend cooking classes, including birthday parties, mini-camps and special events. After a beta test phase, Julie and Suzy say that plans are on the table for franchise owners to be trained to become YCA@Home agents within their protected territories, as well as an adaptation of YCA@Home for their International Master Franchise owners.
About Young Chefs Academy
Young Chefs® Academy, a children’s cooking school, was founded in 2003 by Julie Fabing Burleson and Suzy Vinson Nettles in Waco, TX. YCA locations across the US & Internationally in nine countries inspire kids to stop and smell the ‘rose’mary. Children are encouraged to ignite their creativity and satisfy their natural curiosity in a safe environment to explore and experiment with acquired culinary skills in kid-friendly kitchens. Along with the experience of our staff, we add a heap of science, a cup of math, a scoop of geography and history, a handful of etiquette, and laughter to taste. People, young or old can appreciate the power behind personally experiencing the self-gratification at the moment of creation. At Young Chefs Academy, kids don’t only learn a recipe or two but a lifelong skill and the true joy of cooking.
