So Easy to See Some Awesome "Rides"… Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac Hosts Corvette Show on September 22
Plymouth, MA, September 14, 2007 --(PR.com)-- A Corvette evokes many different things for many people. Musicians write songs about them. It’s been the centerpiece of more than one mid-life crisis.
And for most, it defines the term “sports car.” Whatever your reason for loving Corvettes, you’ll have the opportunity to check out several editions of this very sweet ride as Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac plays host to the South Coastal Corvette Club’s “All-Cars Show” to be held at the dealership on Saturday, September 22 from 9 am to 3 p.m.
Members of the South Coastal Club, a club of 31 members based in Weymouth, will display their ‘vettes, ranging from the initial C1 models (1953 to 1960) to the C5 (1999). Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac will also have on display a red 2007 Corvette C6 model in its showroom.
“I think it’s safe to say that many car lovers, including a lot of dealership owners, first got interested in cars because of the Corvette,” said Jeff Tracy, president of Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac. “By hosting the Corvette Show, we’re giving all those Corvette lovers a chance to not only see the cars but witness the evolution of this American classic.”
In addition to the Corvettes, the show will also feature sports cars of other makes and models. Some of the “regulars” from the South Coastal Corvette Club’s “Cruise Nights” appearing at the show include a:
1961 Ford Galaxy
1948 GMC Pickup
1941 Chevy Convertible Pickup
1979 MGB
1969 Camaro Convertible
1963 Austin Mini-Cooper Pickup
Admission to the Corvette Show is free and the general public is welcome. Sports car enthusiasts who want to show off their “ride” are welcome to participate. Refreshments are available, courtesy of Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac. A 50-50 raffle will be held with proceeds going to South Coastal Corvette Club’s adopted charity, DSS in Weymouth, and local food pantries. Other prizes, including Tracy Chevrolet Cadillac shirts, hats and jackets, will be raffled off during the course of the day.
