Royal Oaks Homes Wins Bronze Award at 48th Annual Wake County Parade of Homes
Local Homebuilder Earns Recognition from Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County.
Raleigh, NC, October 25, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Royal Oaks Homes, LLC, an award-winning residential new homebuilder, has announced that the firm has earned the Bronze Award for its Ocracoke model from The Peninsula at Amberly community in the 2013 Wake County Parade of Homes, which is held annually by the Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County.
The homebuilder received the award in the competition’s Category Nine price range, which spans from $434,900 - $452,290, at the Parade of Homes Awards Gala Dinner held Oct.16 at the Raleigh Convention Center. The Ocracoke model also won a special features award for its spacious sitting rooms attached to the home’s bedrooms.
Royal Oaks Homes earned additional recognition for special features in each of its homes entered in the competition. The Vandemere C model from the firm’s Parker Pointe neighborhood was awarded for its detailed breakfast nook, while the Sampson B model from Parker Pointe was cited for its finished basement. The Shelby A townhome model from the firm’s Forest Springs neighborhood was recognized for its open flow from the kitchen to the living room as well.
During the ceremony, Royal Oaks Homes received further recognition for its work with Operation: Coming Home, a nonprofit organization providing custom-built homes to disabled combat veterans.
The 2013 Parade of Homes features 190 homes ranging in price from $134,900 to $2.29 million throughout the Wake County area. The parade, which serves to showcase excellence in homebuilding, included single-family style homes as well as townhomes that were open for tours every weekend from Oct. 5 through Oct. 20.
