Hill Climb Racing Tops 100 Million Downloads
San Francisco, CA, October 26, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Fingersoft’s mobile gaming phenomenon, Hill Climb Racing, celebrates its first anniversary by reaching 100 million downloads.
Fingersoft is proud to announce that in just twelve months its hit game, Hill Climb Racing, has racked up 100 million downloads.
Hill Climb Racing, the first game to be issued by a one-man company, has since been topping the charts all over the world, both in Google Play and Apple’s App Store.
Hill Climb Racing’s over 100 million downloads mark has been achieved across Android, iOS and Amazon Kindle users. The top countries include USA, India, Germany, Russia and Spain. Hill Climb Racing was first released for Android on 22 September 2012. The iOS version was released roughly a month later.
Hill Climb Racing has also reached the coveted free apps number one spot in the US App Store. In Google Play it has been the top free game in multiple countries and has reached the number one spot in the top free games category in the US.
The game’s popularity inspires Fingersoft to make it even better. “We have kept developing the game and will continue to do so. For us it is extremely important to keep Hill Climb Racing evolving. The first version was released with one car and four stages. The latest version has fourteen cars and fourteen stages,” says Toni Fingerroos, founder and CEO of Fingersoft.
“We have over four million people playing Hill Climb Racing every day. The game currently has 4.7 stars out of five in Google Play with over 810,000 reviews, making it one of worlds best rated mobile games,” says CEO Fingerroos.
To celebrate both the 100 million downloads and the first anniversary, Fingersoft has released localized versions of Hill Climb Racing for Spain, Italy, Russia, Germany, France, Poland and Japan. Hill Climb Racing is also now available for Windows 8 devices and Windows Phone version is currently in development.
Hill Climb Racing is a fun-packed and extremely addictive physics-based racing game - and it’s still sold for the reasonable price of free.
