CommonGround is a grass-roots program to foster conversation among women – on farms and in cities about where our food comes from and the value of modern production agriculture. A CommonGround volunteer will be on set to talk about the program and issues consumers may have concerning GMO crops, biotechnology used to grow food and how this differs from organic production.
Other topics covered during the mini-series include: “Family Budgets - Understanding the Cost of Food in America”, “Holiday Meals -Recipes from American Farms to Your Kitchen”, and “Food Safety – Understanding How Farmers Raise Healthy Food for Our Families”.
