NetRange Launches Smart TV InStore Solution

Hamburg, Germany, October 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- NetRange, the global leader in white label Smart TV portal solutions, announced today the launch of its first Smart TV solution for use in retail and business environments, the NetRange InStore Case. The InStore Case creates new opportunities for Smart TV technology to be integrated into employee training and customer interactions at retail shops, chain restaurants, casinos and other business venues.

NetRange has developed a portal that can be customized for companies and used to train employees to familiarize them with daily work requirements without an additional, classic training program. The portal can also be used to educate customers on products and services using video and text images the customer can interact with on a Smart TV device at the business location. The NetRange solution is compatible with all Smart TV devices including TV Sets, Set-Top-Boxes, IP only boxes, HDMI-Dongles and independent from Linux or Android OS.

The NetRange InStore portal offers a variety of features :

- Ability to test employee’s their skills by video or text descriptions
-Weather forecast for a specific area, displayed within a widget and on a screensaver
- Safety and compliance rules presented by a pop-up explaining risks and provisions

The NetRange Smart TV InStore Case will first launch in German businesses and will be soon rolled out to stores in the UK, the Netherlands and Slovenia.
