NJ Center for Tourette Syndrome Unveils Honorary Committee for 4th Annual NJ Walks for TS at Mendham

The event, which will take place Saturday, November 23, has drawn tremendous amounts of support from the sports world, medical and research fields, and the political arena. NJ Walks For TS' goal is to raise awareness and funds to educate students and teachers about Tourette Syndrome and bullying in schools across New Jersey.

Mendham, NJ, October 30, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders (NJCTS) is proud to announce the formation of an Honorary Committee for the 4th annual NJ Walks for TS at Mendham, scheduled to take place Saturday, November 23, at Borough Park. The walk will be a day of advocacy, awareness, acceptance and action geared toward raising funds to support educating students and teachers about TS across the Garden State.

Support is pouring in from all corners of the state, and each Honorary Committee member has demonstrated their firm support for NJCTS and the 1 in 100 kids and families living with Tourette Syndrome – an inherited, misdiagnosed, misunderstood neurological disorder characterized by involuntary sounds and movements known as tics. The Honorary Committee members, as of October 25, are:
