West Palm Beach, FL, October 30, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Meresha’s Debut EP “Lunatic” Concert Dec. 7, 2013, 2:30 at legendary B.B. King's, West Palm Beach, Florida.
Sunny Florida’s answer to Iceland’s Björk mixed in a blender with some Freddie Mercury, Joss Stone, Amy Winehouse and with a pinch of Paramore and Led Zeppelin.
Palm Beach County resident Meresha, looks to mix it up with her Debut Extended Play (EP) Album – Lunatic
All the words and sounds on the EP are by Meresha, who backs her unique and wide-ranging vocals with guitar, keys, electronic creations and drums. A singing coach of the stars commented that she has the range of Mariah Carey.
(Writer/Bloggers can request a physical copy sent to them in addition to the sounds on meresha.com)
Meresha just successfully completed a Kickstarter campaign to help support this EP, hitting 205% of her goal. 111 fans supported literally from around the world, including from Japan, Australia, India, the Philipines, Vietnam, France, England, Germany, Poland, Denmark, Russia, Costa Rica and the US.
The first planned single “Fool Don’t Be” was originally recorded on impulse in a tiny CD recording booth at the Sawgrass Mills mall near Miami years ago.
With its driving beat, this number encourages you “to lose control.” We challenge you to not hum this earworm while at the water cooler or on your way home.
The title track “Lunatic” evokes the atmosphere of a classic thriller. Close your eyes and join the hunt as Sherlock and Dr. Watson chase a crazed perpetrator.
“Symphony of a Crime” builds from Meresha’s dreamy vocals in a powerful crescendo to deliver you the truth.
These and other songs will be out to original backers and then later the world in December.
Meresha and her band, The Alien Invasion, is set to perform songs from the EP and covers Dec. 7 at 2:30 PM at the legendary B.B. King's music club in West Palm Beach, Florida (No Cover).
