RiceTec, Inc. Joins The Sustainability Consortium
RiceTec, Inc. is the newest member to The Sustainability Consortium's Food, Beverage, and Agriculture Working Group.
Tempe, AZ, October 31, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Sustainability Consortium® (TSC®) is pleased to welcome RiceTec, Inc. on board as a new member. RiceTec is a technology-based rice company formulated around the marketing and distribution of high-value rice seed and consumer products, and was the first company to commercialize hybrid rice seed in North and South America. It was also the first company to introduce US grown basmati, jasmine and arborio to North American supermarkets under brands known as Texmati® Rice and Jasmati® Rice. RiceTec began as Farms of Texas Company, a 50,000-acre rice-farming partnership and was established as RiceTec in 1991.
