Cornery - The Popcorn Gallery Launches Its First International Franchise in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, May 25, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Established in May 2008 with a small production plant, Singapore-grown popcorn specialist, Aramidth International Pte Ltd, which is Singapore's largest supplier of popcorn products to foodservice operators, today opened its first gourmet popcorn store in Malaysia. The store, named Cornery - the popcorn gallery, is in Plaza Low Yat which is situated in Kuala Lumpur's vibrant Golden Triangle district.

Cornery's first international store is operated by Cornery FNB, headquartered in Kuala Lumpur. Suyanto Agus, CEO of Aramidth International Pte Ltd, joined franchisee Joe Tan and his executive team for the grand opening.

"Entering Malaysia is a natural step for our expansion in South East Asia since Malaysia is Singapore's largest trading partner and bilateral trade amounted to more than S$110 billion last year, also the quality and taste of our products have been very well accepted by Malaysian customers who patronised Cornery - the popcorn gallery in Singapore," said Agus. The new Cornery - the popcorn gallery will serve 8 to 13 of the popcorn flavours that have made the Cornery brand an icon in the industry, including Singapore's favourite Butterscotch popcorn.

Cornery has plans to grow the brand in Kuala Lumpur by adding 3 more locations within a year.
