Jacksonville, FL, November 01, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Attention all Latke aficionados: Jacksonville’s Annual Latke Frying Competition – The Great Latke Fry is scheduled for 6pm on the First Night of Chanukah, Wednesday Night Nov. 27 at Chabad of Southside. Competitors will throwdown for the coveted title of “Golden Latke,” to be determined by an esteemed panel of celebrity judges.
The Great Latke Fry is more than just a mere cooking competition. Young and old are invited to partake in the festivities including the grand lighting of Chabad of Southside’s Menorah, a live olive oil press demonstration, refreshments, lively music, children’s activities and of course Latke tasting!
