Silas Haslam Joins EYP/BJAC as Architectural Intern
Local Architectural Firm Welcomes Architectural Professional with Construction and Planning Experience
Raleigh, NC, November 08, 2013 --(PR.com)-- EYP/BJAC, an expertise-based, integrated architecture firm specializing in academic, medical, research and government clients, has announced that Silas Haslam has joined the company as an architectural intern. In his position, Haslam will assist on EYP/BJAC projects, including collaborating on design projects using 3D software. He will also assist with the production of design and construction renderings using Revit and AutoCAD programs, as well as participate in site visits and architectural research.
Haslam received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a minor in sociology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville in 2006, and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville in 2012. Prior to joining EYP/BJAC, he served as an architectural intern at several firms, and was a historic preservation and planning intern at the University of Virginia’s Office of the Architect. He also has experience in fabrication and construction, previously working at a high-end furniture company in Richmond, Va., and a private guesthouse project in Scottsville, Va. Recently relocated to the area from San Francisco, Haslam resides in Durham, N.C.
