Global micro financing organization that provides loans to entrepreneurs in poverty stricken areas will hold a fundraising luncheon on November 16, 2013 to honor entrepreneurs and “People of Influence” in the triangle area.
Durham, NC, November 07, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Global Economic Empowerment Engine (GE3), a nonprofit that provides micro financing and business training and support to entrepreneurs in poverty stricken or developing regions, is hosting a fundraising luncheon on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 11:30 am at the Radisson Hotel, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. The event will bring together many of the area’s philanthropists and entrepreneurs for an afternoon of food, entertainment, and fundraising, as they recognize “People of Influence” in the community. Sponsorship opportunities are available, as well as individual tickets. Those interested in sponsoring or attending are invited to visit www.globalengine.org.
As a global business incubator, GE3 provides micro financing to entrepreneurs who would otherwise be unable to qualify for financing to start or expand their business through traditional banking institutions. GE3 equips them with a strong knowledge and understanding of business principles and financial acumen, positioning them to provide services that will ultimately match or exceed the efficiency of their global competitors.
At a glance, GE3:
• Equips under-privileged entrepreneurs with startup and expansion capital
• Provides opportunities to acquire business education
• Serves as a source of ongoing coaching and support to ensure entrepreneurial success.
The achievement of each of these goals will assist in increasing the momentum towards their independence, which will help to eliminate the "dependency syndrome" in poor and developing regions.
