Jerry’s Artarama Supports Comic Book Artists and Cartoonists at Dare2Draw Event in New York on Nov. 14
National Art Supplier Partners with Nonprofit to Provide Prizes for Attendees
Raleigh, NC, November 10, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Jerry’s Artarama, a national retailer of art supplies and materials headquartered in Raleigh, has announced the support and sponsorship of the Dare2Draw event being held Thursday, Nov. 14, at the Art Directors Blub located at 106 West 29th St. in New York City.
Dare2Draw is a nonprofit mentoring and networking platform for all artists, specifically comic book artists and cartoonists. The community event gives established artists an opportunity to connect in a supportive setting, encouraging good health and business practices. All Dare2Draw events include lectures, art demonstrations, live model instruction and Q&A sessions.
The event will also include a “QuickDraw” contest in which Jerry’s Artarama will provide e-gift cards for winners, coupons for guests to shop online, and 30 of their popular Vanish Erasers. These are a new type of eraser which is changing the drawing habits of amateur and professional artists alike
