Westchase Charitable Foundation to Recognize the 2013 Tampa Bay Woman of the Year
Westchase Charitable Foundation is holding its 4th annual Tampa Bay Woman of the Year Grand Finale Ladies Night Out at the Tampa Jet Center on November 23, 2013. One of the nineteen women nominated will be named Woman of the Year.
Tampa, FL, November 14, 2013 --(PR.com)-- This year marks a special 10 year anniversary for the Westchase Charitable Foundation (WCF). The foundation of WCF was created by Dan O’Brien and Ralph Caputo and their first assistance was to an 8 year old battling terminal brain cancer and her family. She is sadly no longer with us, but her story moved and inspired the people of Westchase to help each other in times of need.
The annual Tampa Bay Woman of the Year is one of WCF’s semiannual fundraising events. This year nineteen community leaders have been nominated for this prestigious award. The winner will be announced at the Grand Finale Ladies Night Out at the Tampa Jet Center on November 23, 2013. Food will be provided by several esteemed vendors, including Taste of Tampa, Flemings, That’s Amore, and Carrabbas. The event begins at 6:00 P.M. The tickets are all-inclusive and on sale now. There are only a limited number of tickets available. This event has sold out the past few years so do not wait to secure your seats. Tickets can be purchased on the website www.tampabaywoman.org.
WCF has a board made up entirely of volunteers. No one is paid to be a board director, and 100% of all net profits go directly to families in need. The Tampa Bay Woman of the Year event is one of two main fundraisers WCF holds each year. There will be a live and a silent auction to help raise money. The items up for auction are as creative as the nominees. Tickets to sporting events, concerts, museums, and theme parks as well as dance lessons, restaurant certificates, and spa treatments are just a few of the items up for auction.
There will also be a 50/50 raffle and you do not have to be present to win. Raffle tickets are $100 each and the winner will receive half of all raffle proceeds. The other half will go directly to the families in need.
Tampa Bay Woman of the Year is an event you do not want to miss. Coordination of this event was provided by Premier Style Events. This exciting evening has a little something for everyone. There will be acrobats hanging from the ceiling, a DJ playing the hottest music, a magician, and a fashion show. Lighting was provided by You Dream Lighting and they know how to perfectly set the mood for each part of the event. Make sure to dress to impress because this is going to be spectacular.
The Westchase Charitable Foundation has provided over $260,000 to families in need. The money goes to families who have a parent or a child battling a serious illness or other catastrophic family situations. WCF strives to be the foundation that brings out the good in everyone. Tampa Bay can show appreciation and support by attending this fabulous event.
