Emily Goodman, CPM®, ARM®, CAPS Honored with Professional Achievement Award
Chicago, IL, November 14, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) recently honored Emily Goodman CPM, ARM, CAPS with its “Professional Achievement” Award. The award recognizes individuals who have earned an IREM-conferred credential who have continued on with their professional development activities and have realized outstanding professional accomplishments beyond earning their IREM® credential.
Honorees must meet seven of 12 specific award criteria and document them in writing. Among the criterion: teaching an IREM® course or seminar; contributing to an IREM® publication or facilitating a webinar; holding an IREM® leadership position at the national and/or local level; participating in professional associations other than IREM and/or community service activities for at least three years; attending at least 10 hours of professional education courses sponsored by IREM or other groups. As well, they must be endorsed by their local IREM® chapter and be approved by IREM’s Membership & Credentialing Committee.
Mrs. Goodman joined CRHMI in 2008 as a Regional Property Manager. Goodman is a dynamic, property management pro with proven progressive residential and commercial expertise. Cultivating a service-oriented environment, assuring unparalleled tenant satisfaction and retention, yielding increased occupancy and quality tenant mix. Her administrative skills focus on budget preparation and enforcement, project proposals, vendor contracts, timely collections, maintaining costs, and generating financial reports. Every aspect of construction and repair, major remodeling and renovation projects are expertly managed and supervised under her guidance.
Emily has been published several times in national and international trade publications. She has been included among Top 30 Leaders Under 30 Internationally by the Journal of Property Management, named Certified Property Manager of the Year 2012 and Regional Manager of the Year 2012 and IREM’s Professional Achievement Award in 2013. She holds a Bachelors Degree from Elon University. She is credentialed with IREM’s distinguished Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) designations, as well as the Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS), and is a Licensed Real Estate Broker-in-Charge.
