GenieMD Announces Integration with Withings Smart Devices
San Francisco, CA, November 17, 2013 --(PR.com)-- GenieMD, a Silicon Valley based, global provider of mobile healthcare solutions, is pleased to announce integration with the Withings suite of smart devices. This update will enable users to auto-populate their GenieMD profile with vitals and data from Withings devices, reducing the need for manual data entry.
“Our goal is to provide users with a holistic view of their health; integration with Withings enables users to combine biometric data collected by devices with medical and wellness data from other sources, in an intuitive and convenient way,” said Tory Kelso, VP of Marketing and Business Development for GenieMD.
Notifications can be set to alert users that a measure, such as blood pressure, is out of a user-defined range, further enabling the family caregiver to remotely support and monitor the health of a loved one. Users can also print a Health Summary and share the trends in activity and vitals with a doctor.
By presenting aggregated health and wellness data to patients and their support network, GenieMD strives to activate the behavior change necessary to help people manage disease and take preventative action at home.
