Cannon Free Library of Delhi, NY to Host Free “A Remnant Surprise Party” with Local Children's Book Author, Vanessa Roam
The “A Remnant Surprise Party” will be from 10:30AM-11:30AM, followed by a Meet and Greet. The “A Remnant Surprise Party” begins with Vanessa Roam welcoming children with a quick, individualized activity, before she reads the illustrated story. Afterwards, children will enjoy interacting with the author, as they participate in an enriching arts and crafts project based on the book’s theme. There is no admission. Delhi, NY, November 18, 2013 --(PR.com)-- On Saturday, December 7, 2013, the Cannon Free Library of Delhi, NY will be hosting an event featuring local author, Vanessa Roam’s award winning children’s book, A Remnant Surprise. An “A Remnant Surprise Party” will be from 10:30AM-11:30AM. Followed by a Meet and Greet at 11:30AM-12:00PM, during which time Roam will autograph copies of A Remnant Surprise. The community is invited to spend the morning with the author at the Cannon Free Library, at 40 Elm Street, in Delhi, NY.

A Remnant Surprise was released in December, 2011. The book will be available in hardcover and paperback, with each format including a free audio book download. Author Vanessa Roam grew up in Treadwell, NY. She graduated from Delaware Academy and Central Schools in Delhi, NY. She attained her Bachelor’s Degree at the State University of New York at Oneonta. Roam has published two children’s books, A Remnant Surprise and the soon to be released, Tippy Tip. Vanessa Roam states, “I am excited to see all of you at our 'A Remnant Surprise Party.'
