Video Tourism Firm Out & About Mendocino Launches Online TV Series: “Spotlight on the Industry"

Mendocino, CA, November 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Mendocino County Video tourism firm Out & About Mendocino launches a new online TV series “Spotlight on the Industry” starting with “Lodging” in December 2013. Dining kicks off 2014 followed monthly by: Wineries, Activities, Services, and Real Estate until the cycle begins again with Lodging in July 2014. Four to five members of the community in each category will be selected as guests to discuss the state of the tourism industry in Mendocino.

Mendocino County in Northern California, and in particular its majestic, rugged coastline, has become a booming tourism industry. The county has been Northern California’s best kept secret.

Mendocino is home to ancient redwood forests and America’s Greenest wine region to spectacular coasts and romantic inns, hotels, and B&Bs. Outdoor adventure beckons, such as kayaking, hiking, and horseback riding. Mendocino County’s authentic “green” credentials are unsurpassed by any other wine region in the world, according to the Mendocino Wine Growers Incorporated.

Filled with music, film, wine, beer and food festivals, Mendocino is a destination county. Numerous major movies and TV shows have been made in the county including the most recent thriller “Need for Speed” a movie premiering in 2014 (Speed was written by John Gatins and George Nolfi. Produced by DreamWorks Pictures, it is an adaptation of the popular series of video games by Electronic Arts.) In January 2014 is the popular annual “Wine, Beer & Crab Festival" in Fort Bragg, California.

The county can be separated into five major areas: the Anderson Valley and Upper Russian River Valley on the inland southern border; North Mendocino Coast and South Mendocino Coast; and the northern inland region known as North Mendocino County. Each area offers visitors a range of activities and accommodations for those who lead active lifestyles and those seeking a romantic or secluded getaway.
