bsoco, the Software Comparison Tool Publishes Its 3rd Barometer for 2013
A clear and unique document which analyzes current trends on the software market.
Policka, Czech Republic, November 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- bsoco, the community benchmark leader for professional software, has just released its tenth barometer (the third in 2013). This document presents purchasing trends for B2B software in the months of July, August, and September. This reference barometer provides quarterly performance indicators in professional software areas such as CRM, ERP, e-learning, HRIS, CMS, etc.
To compile its statistics for purchasing trends, bsoco dissects the browsing behavior of its thousands of users worldwide and identifies the most frequent searches. In particular, it uses the results of its sales benchmark sheets to reliably reveal the purchasing trends of users in the short term. Recognized by software publishing professionals, the bsoco barometer provides relevant and useful benchmarks for both sellers and buyers of software.
After rising for the first two quarters of 2013, the upward movement came to a halt in the 3rd quarter with a decline of 11.44% compared to the first two quarters. On the other hand, compared to the third quarter of 2012, purchases grew by 62%.
CRM software has enjoyed the greatest upswing. Also posting a strong performance is recruiting software. One can undoubtedly associate this development with signs of recovery in Europe. Countries showing strong buying trends for B2B software this quarter include the United Kingdom, Australia, France, Belgium, Switzerland and Spain.
The average software price continues to rise slightly with an increase of 0.83% or 1% cumulatively for the first 3 quarters of 2013.
Finally, as usual the bsoco barometer reveals its TOP 50, which ranks the top 50 software programs ranked according to user satisfaction. Among the new entrants, they note the arrival of two Learning Management Systems (e-learning software), one from American company Cornerstone On Demand and one from French company e-doceo. CRM software also finds a place among the 50 professional software programs preferred by users. Finally, we note the sharp rise for the American ERwin ERP program, which has shot up 20 places in the world rankings.
