Bloomex Australia Announces Price Adjustment on 42 Gift Baskets
Australian e-commerce retailer marks holiday season with alterations on dozens of gift baskets.
Auburn, Australia, November 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Bloomex Australia (www.bloomex.com.au), an online florist and gift basket retailer, announced today that they have lowered prices on 42 of their most popular gift baskets (http://bloomex.com.au/index.php/Gift-Baskets/View-all-products.html?category_parent_id=0), just in time for the holiday season.
The price changes range from a $5 drop on some value baskets, to some gourmet baskets which have seen the price cut by over $100. The XXL Sweets basket -- which features an assortment of 17 items including various types of chocolate, cookies, truffles and candies -- received the single-biggest price adjustment, with a drop of $112 AUD down to $137.95.
2013 has been a banner sales year for Bloomex in Australia, its best since launching the brand down under in 2011.
Marketing Project Manager Brendan Dyke said the price adjustments on gift baskets are intended to put the spotlight on gift baskets as an attractive, worry-free gift option as the holidays approach -- particularly for corporate consumers.
"We've seen a lot of interest in gift baskets over the past couple of years, and we really want to promote them as one of the hallmarks of Bloomex in Australia," he said. "We've made great strides with our corporate gift-giving initiatives and this price adjustment is intended to keep building on that success."
Prices have been cut by more than 30 per cent on 13 baskets, offering consumers an incentive to take advantage of the significant savings.
Bloomex launched its Australian division in 2011, specializing in fresh cut flowers, gift baskets, and other gift items, delivered to consumers' doors. Its primary delivery region includes Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, and surrounding areas.
Bloomex's Australian division is based in Auburn, New South Wales. Customers place orders through its website at www.bloomex.com.au.
The company buys products directly from the growers and producers, and its economy of scale means that with its unique business model, it’s able to offer prices that average about 35%-50% lower than other online and traditional florists in Australia. It also has relationships with local florists in Australia to ensure fresh, on-time delivery. Customer service is handled through the website, in addition to a live chat feature, and a toll-free line at 1800-451-637.
