Project Athena Returns to the Florida Keys

Survivors and supporters from coast to coast join for another 100 mile fundraising multisport adventure.

Key West, FL, November 21, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Athenas and their god/goddess supporters will be paddling, cycling and running from Key Largo to Key West November 21 – 24, 2013.

Four Athenas, (survivors) will be traveling from California and Virginia to participate in the “team” experience as part of their recovery from medical setbacks. The goal of finishing this 3-day adventure after months of training helps these women cope with the challenge of cancer and blood diseases.

The event includes 60 miles of cycling, 28 miles of paddling and 12 miles of running/hiking. After three nights of camping the final reward is a beachfront Finish Celebration and night at the Southernmost Hotel in Key West.

This Project Athena Foundation fundraiser will help other survivors like Heidi, Sandi, Lori and Sarah live their adventurous dreams as part of their recovery.
