Avalon Equipment Corporation Now Carries TESEQ/PMM 9010 Product Line for Sale and Rent
Avalon Equipment Corporation has partnered with TESEQ to sell and rent their 9010 product line of digital receiver equipment for CISPR 16-1-1. Avalon also carries other equipment in the TESEQ catalogue.
Vista, CA, November 21, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Teseq/PMM 9010 EMC/EMI Digital Receiver covers the frequency range of 10Hz to 30MHz; the 9010/03P version, to 300MHz. Both are expandable to 3GHz, 6GHz, or 18GHz with the use of 9030, 9060, or 9180 frequency extension units. A 40GHz extension unit is in current development.
The 9010 base unit multimode functions include sweep, spectrum analyzer, scalar network analyzer, and manual receiver. Other standard features include auto-attenuator, Peak, Avg, QP, RMS-Avg detectors plus APD function, integrated tracking generator and pulse limiter. It is a fully CISPR 16-1-1 compliant receiver for conducted and radiated emission tests, and includes all CISPR and MIL-STD-461E RBW filters. A four-channel click analyzer that allows compliance to the latest CISPR 14-1 specifications is available as an option.
The standard "Smart Detector" feature dramatically improves test speed. It allows the receiver to scan with the fast peak detector, and when the reading approaches a threshold such as a user-selected limit or limit with offset, it switches to the quasi-peak detector, and re-sweeps until the levels remain within the threshold. Then the receiver resumes peak mode and resumes the scan at highest possible speed, repeating this process whenever an over limit is encountered.
The receiver is based on analog-to-digital conversion and advanced computation that provides calibration-free operation for almost all of its main components such as detectors, RBW filters, and demodulators, while the RF front-end is self-calibrating through the internal frequency reference (90dBµV in 0.1dB steps). This reference signal source can also operate in tracking generator mode allowing the the receiver to act as a network analyzer for the characterization of components, filters, antennas, etc. Digital design precludes aging of critical parts that cause degradation of measurement accuracy.
