Great Lakes Signs MoU with HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management
Great Lakes Institute of Management, a top business school in India signed an agreement of cooperation with HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management effective from December 1st 2013.
Chennai, India, November 24, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Great Lakes Institute of Management, a top business school in India signed an agreement of cooperation with HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management effective from December1st 2013. HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management is the No-1 business school in Germany and is ranked 28th globally in FT Rankings. HHL is the first private business school in Germany to be accredited by AACSB.
Prof Frank Hoffman, Director, International Relations who visited Great Lakes Chennai campus recently interacting with Faculty, students and was highly impressed with the quality of Students, Faculty and Infrastructure. He also acclaimed the reputation that Great Lakes has made in such a short span of time.
The agreement of cooperation between Great Lakes and HHL, enables student exchange from both Institute and allows students to spend one semester at the partner institute. The tuition fee is waived for exchange students, while the living expenses shall need to borne by the students. The exchange program is for a semester and is open to students of all programs (both full time and executive) at Great Lakes.
The agreement also encourages exchange of Study Materials and exchange of teaching staff with the objective of giving lectures and seminars. Under this exchange the faculty shall be spending one year at Leipzig. Recently faculty from IIMB and MDI, Gurgaon have spent a year at Leipzig. The faculty can also participate in research programs and can visit the school in Germany on short trips for joint research work.
Another unique aspect of the association is the visit of Executive students at HHL to visit India on an immersion program for a week’s time. The program apart from the regular course modules shall also take students on Industry visits to give them a better understanding of the Indian working culture.
The association with HHL is yet another step by Great Lakes, keeping in sync with its motto of Global Mindset, Indian Roots and providing Great Lakes students global exposure.
